If I am for real for a second, Malcom Thompson had his name spelled wrong on purpose for a reason. His original name was Desean. His mom changed his name for he was always bullied in school for being normal. So they changed the name and yet here we are.
Malcom went to Midwood High School, up in Brooklyn, New York. Malcom was 15 years old when he hit 6 feet. He played basketball, football, and ran track. He knew he wanted to play football when he saw his other cousin, Carlos Luzon played his first season. He only played Safety when he wanted to change his position.
His coach wanted him to play CB for a drive during a game in high school. He wanted him to guard the number 2 receiver, not too easy, not too hard. At the end of the drive, they didn't get a single completion on the right side. He ended up playing there for the rest of the game and gave up 1 catches for 3 yards.
After that, he ended up playing for the season and made the all-state team. He got 12 Interceptions, 20 Deflections, 4 TFL's and 4 TDs. Malcom got offers from Baylor, Miami, West Virginia, Michigan, and UCLA. He wanted to stay close to home, so he was about to choose West Virginia and it was close to Carlos' old home. Until Miami offered him a full-time scholarship he couldn't decline. And so he started a new life in Miami
